Hiking Gear Hire ( Abel Tasman )

If you are about to go walking on the Abel Tasman Great Coast Walk you will need some camping gear. We hire out quality gear a a great price. Pick up from 139 Kaiteriteri Sandy Bay Road or we can arrange to get it to you. Just ask.

Full Camping Kits $75 per person for up to 5 day. Tents and extra $20 per night.

We drop off gear at Kaiteriteri Beach where the Sea Shuttles Depart From.

Back Packs $10 per day. 24hours

Dry Food. $15 per bag. Normally $25 in retail shops.

You will need a plastic drink bottle to attatch.

Let's Go

Sure you can buy a cheap backpack from Temu or the Warehouse but a cheap backpack will not cope with the weight and conditions of a Great Walk. If you are from overseas it will be checked over by Customs then you leave NZ and fines apply if you have have not cleaned it properly. What a hassle

To hire camping gear for the Abel Tasman Great Walk or just to trek around Golden Bay contact us. Bookings must be at least 1 day in advance. Price for a basic kit of name brand equipment the cost is $75 per person for up to five days, I D is required. Or hire only some items as above. How do we get it to you? Pick up from 139 Kaiteriteri Sandy Bay Road just 6km from the Sea Shuttles at Kaiteriteri. We do not hire jackets, boots or other clothing. All our equipment is name brand and fit for purpose. If you lose or damage equipment this replaced at your cost. But general wear and tear is fine. Please complete the form below to secure your booking. During summer months we can not help everyone so book early.

The Abel Tasman Great Walk does not have phone coverage for much of it. You are welcome to give us details of your walk so we can tick you off as returned safe and well. This is a free service but we do require personal information from you.
